I have not recently sent, nor authorised, any repetitive emails/requests from WooMe.com to be sent out. I am no longer, since last year, a member of that site due to their habit of sending out unauthorised emails from my old account, which amounts to an apparent spamming practice). So, if you recieve any further emails purportedly from me inviting you to 'WooMe.com', please note: I am not a member, I have made several requests for cessation which have gone (apparently) unheeded. Therefore, as there is nothing further I can do about this issue, please direct any further complaints directly to Messrs George Berkowski ( http://www.facebook.com/berkowski ) and/or Stephen Stokols ( http://www.facebook.com/stokols )(the developers - both can be found through attached Facebook urls), as repeated emails to the WooMe.com website complaints links (and email addresses) have so far not been addressed nor acknowledged. [Edited: 2:21pm] Reply from Stephen Stokols: Re: Spamming Problems with WooMe (which have so far been unheeded) Apologies, will have someone handle your email issue asap. woome is migrating to a new email service provider and synching lists between the 2 caused issues which I thought were 100 percent resolved but apparantly still edge cases so thanks for raising direct. With as much hours I have put in this past month or so, I had a simple meal of left overs and then called it a night at 8:30.
Not real exciting and I slept like a rock here in Wisconsin, because unlike California I did not hear fun fire and firecrackers at Midnight.
I suppose it was a tough year last year. Being that the job situation was difficult and moving was not exactly a picnic.
But to keep perspective I have what is most important in life. I have my health, my friends and I have family. Noting else really matters at all.
Like most folks, I look forward to the New Year; new possibilities, new challenges, new friends and progress towards goals in my life.
There is a pretty good possibility I will get transferred into the contract division at work. It is what I wanted all along. It usually takes nine to twelve months to even be considered and be allowed to take the exams the require first. I passed the exam lat month!! interviewed for the position last month. No decision has been made, but scuttlebutt is I will likely get the position.
It not more money to begin with, but it is better hours and will allow me to pursue some outside interests and have more of a social life.
I have adapted fairly well to the snow and cold. I was not so sure I would when I made the move. I would prefer a warmer climate, but hey, it was still the right thing to do to be closer to Mom and be there for her.
So the best for you all in this New Year. The best to you each and every day. Now I am going to start it off a bit different, Oatmeal for breakfast instead of bagels and lox.

(because I know you're all effing breathless on the edges of your seats) We're 80% of the way there. My Secret Agent Lover Man has done heroic work even with a miserable edition of the local bronchitis in clearing out, sorting through, and giving away. It's a miracle, I tell you. Now I'm ferreting the last of the crud out of the corners. Items stuffed into odd corners, end bits of fluff, things with no homes, old food, deceased condiments, expired meds, none is safe from my wrath. Muhahaha. I cannot even tell you how much I am satisfied by this endeavor. I've never done a good, old-fashioned cleanout and purge before and it's just amazing. I now totally understand by some people (::cough:: rtpeck::cough::) are so...vigorous about limiting the stuff that comes into their homes. It's marvelous to feel like things have a place to go. Not incidentally, I have purchased a Brother P-touch labelmaker, which makes my Virgo heart go pitapat. Later, I will show you my tidy rows of jars and canisters of beans and grain and dry goods, all airtight and silicone-sealed and labelled with their contents. Because I know that you've all been saying to yourselves "Do you think today will be the day Bear shows us hir dry goods? Do you? Huh? Huh?" ::cheerful grin::
