My kind
Lapit77: Your quote has described the Great Mick
Lapit77: I am a public speaker and travel the country. What do you write about?
Lapit77: Can you play the harp?
Lapit77: Do you know how to type?
MarkedGirl: Depends
Lapit77: I see you want control right away
Lapit77: Control is an illusion
Lapit77: people should really try to give it up
MarkedGirl: Let me know how that goes for you.
Lapit77: meaning?
Lapit77: please be direct when you talk to me
Lapit77: i can out think you, out talk you and out wit you on my worst day
Lapit77: I have done more in one year of my life, then you have done in your entire lifetime
MarkedGirl: Oh, this is going in the journal...
Lapit77: and if you were smart, you would become teachable, instead of challenge me
Lapit77: where are you?
Lapit77: i have to go, I have dealt with your kind before. You need to get out of yourself and realize you're nothing but a piece of sand down here like everyone else. Become teachable and you'll be fine. bye
MarkedGirl: Right here, about to introduce you to my audience.
MarkedGirl: I feel so very out witted now. You really put me in my place.

You know, the kind that doesn't think you're nearly as great as you think you are... I suppose that would be my kind according to him. He is Thomas aka. "The Great Mick", so his AOL profile says, aged 45 from New Jersey and divorced (shocker there). He might be smart, but it would have been a lot easier to think that if he wasn't acting like such an arrogant fool.

Thahahaa. Ok, nerdface. That line totally reminds of something from the Princess Bride - that guy who thinks he's a genius criminal. Hilarious. I'm sure it gets annoying, but in some ways you're lucky to be ever entertained by people like that.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not judge the rest of the NJ population upon this one guy. Those of us that were born in this fine state (trust me... it's not all about Elizabeth, Newark, Linden, Jersey City & Atlantic City... there is SO much more to appreciate here in NJ!!!!) pretty much know that people that have the attitude that 'The Great Mick' have simply means he is a transplanted NYer (OK, I did say that, so NYers, bash away!). We would never admit to 'Mick' being a true New Jerseyan. Ever!!
His comments do, however, make you wonder how he makes a living off being a communicator when he can't communicate on a level as simple as an IM. Maybe I am in the wrong business!!!

I got one of these types out of the blue the other day. It was more pathetic than funny, the guy didn't know how to type for shit. Took 10 minutes to type a line of text... and he did it badly at that.

I won't kid myself into thinking I have a life... but these people? Who knows what drives them?

Well... i can name ONE thing you can do better than him, right off the top of my head: spell. Okay, two... your grammar is a thousand times better. ;)

How come i never get these guys? Sometimes i even go searching on IRC, and i never get the fun ones like this. All i ever find are the silly ones. Ah well...

I think we should give this guy some kudo's, going over the top to give us such a good laugh.
'Great Mick', please keep your own line and keep posting like this. It'll give us hours of entertainment.

Delia? My guess is that you can handle as a low-level multitask part?

He's a dreamer

Dias- I'm really sorry about him... you see, he's a dreamer. You'll have to excuse him, dreamers are usually pretty emotionally stressed people, cause quite simply... they don't have a place in this world right now. Times are tough for us. Sorry! :)
